Workshops held in 2024 and 2025
Internal assessments of MECC strengths and service gaps
National surveys and public submissions
Alignment with Fiji’s Vision 2050 and NDP 2025–2029
It represents collective input and shared responsibility.
Implementation & Monitoring

- Individual performance plans
MECC uses a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) system to track progress, measure impact, and support continuous improvement.
Financing the SDP
MECC will secure resources through:
- National budget allocations
- International climate finance
- Regional collaboration
- Bilateral partners
- Private sector investment
- Trust funds (e.g., CROC)
A multi-year costed plan will be developed to enable efficient long-term implementation.
