The Ministry proudly acknowledges One Beach Fiji and more than 300 volunteers, resort staff, families and community members who came together to clean Natadola Beach, showing the strength of collective action in protecting Fijiβs coastline, yesterday (11.07.26).
Minister for Environment and Climate Change, Hon. Lynda Tabuya, acknowledges the team involved for their commitment to caring for the environment.
βThe greatest clean-up campaign is preventing litter in the first place. Every piece of rubbish belongs in a bin, not on our streets, in our communities or on our beaches. If we all do the right thing, together we can keep Fiji clean, green and beautiful.β
The Ministry encourages communities, businesses and organisations to continue promoting civic pride and environmental responsibility so that future generations grow up knowing that rubbish belongs in a bin, not in our rivers, beaches or communities.
