Help shape Pacific Pre-COP31 — have your say

Bula Vinaka to our valued stakeholders and development partners
The Governments of Australia and Fiji are pleased to invite Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from stakeholders wishing to host a side event or participate in the Pre-COP31 Stakeholder Program, to be held alongside the formal Pre-COP31 from 5 to 8 October 2026 in Nadi, Fiji.
Hosted by Australia in partnership with Fiji, Tuvalu and Pacific partners, Pre-COP31 will provide an important platform to amplify Pacific voices and advance dialogue on the region’s key climate priorities ahead of COP31.
The Pre-COP31 Stakeholder Program will feature a range of engagement opportunities, including plenary sessions, panel discussions, roundtables, workshops, networking events and keynote presentations. We invite civil society organisations, the private sector, academia, research institutions, youth organisations, community groups, development partners and other interested stakeholders to submit proposals to host an event as part of the program.
The Stakeholder Program aligns with the four policy pillars of the COP31 Pacific Partnership Policy Framework:
01
Keeping 1.5°C within reach
02
Enhancing access to climate finance
03
Elevating the ocean climate nexus
04
Amplifying Pacific voices and leadership
We encourage innovative proposals that showcase both the challenges and the solutions to climate change across the Pacific. Expressions of Interest are also open for stakeholders wishing to attend the Pre-COP31 Stakeholder Program.
Please submit your Expression of Interest through the Pre-COP31 Stakeholder Engagement Hub using the link below:
