Two Weeks to Pre-COP: Fourth Stakeholder Briefing

With the Pacific-led Pre-COP now just over two weeks away, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change once again brought together all stakeholders for an update briefing on preparations for the important climate gathering.
Permanent Secretary for Environment and Climate Change, Dr Sivendra Michael, led the briefing, providing stakeholders with the full Pre-COP information package covering both the High Level Programme and the Vale Ni Vanua Stakeholder Engagement Programme components.
The briefing also outlined key operational arrangements including registration, venues, accommodation, transport and media coordination.
As preparations enter a critical stage, the briefing aligned stakeholders on their roles and the arrangements needed to deliver the Pre-COP successfully.
The Ministry is working closely with partners and stakeholders as Fiji prepares to welcome global leaders, climate representatives, and partners for this important milestone as the Pacific shapes the road to COP31.
